After a successful first edition, with over 140 participants and some 120 business meetings, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES-SO), the University of Applied Sciences St Gall, Business France Switzerland and the French Embassy in Switzerland are happy to welcome you to the 2016 event. More information about the 2015 event (in French) Aim of this second edition of the Forum is to bring together professionals, scientists and companies from the French and Swiss Silver Economy in order to build partnerships, innovative research-projects and business connections between both countries. By 2030, European countries will face an enormous social and economic challenge: demographic ageing. More than 20 million in France and in Switzerland 2 million people will be older than 65 years. By 2045, this number will increase to 2.7 million in Switzerland. There will be a strong increase of 84% of the 65+ population. The demographic change does not only represent a challenge for society but also offers new options for future actions in the new technologies sector and services for elderly people!
